Artist Statement

Memories are remembered into being

Memories are not pure, but layered with what comes after

Memories growing thicker as time passes, soon it takes on a life,

becoming autonomous

Memories compressing into a hard substance

Memories making marks, leaving traces

Memories coating the material, giving it lightness

Memories floating, even more so when on the forgotten
